Mikumi National Park

Distance: 283 km (175 miles) from Dar Es Salaam to Mikumi.

Mikumi Safari is a short tour from Dar es Salaam, which takes you to visit one of the spectacular’s southern circuit National parks of Tanzania. The park hosts’ small and large mammals including variety of birds species and reptiles.

We pick you up early in the morning at your hotel at 06:30 am drive direct to Mikumi National park where you will arrive around 10:00 am and starting a morning game drive.This park is home to Elephant, Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park then drive to the hotel for lunch at Mikumi Wildlife Camp Restaurant or similar, after game drive en route back to Dar Es Salaam and drop you off at your hotel.
